7 Day Sacred Search Challenge

Day 1 — Reflect on Past Travels

List all the places you've visited that left a strong impression on you. Write down why each place was memorable.

Day 2 — Identify Your “Sacred Place"

Choose one place from your list that you feel compelled to revisit or explore further. Research its history and cultural significance.

Day 3 — Deeply Explore Your “Sacred Place”

Go back through any photos you have, go online, use Google Earth, or Google Search to deeply dive into the sacred site(s) in your sacred place. Take notes on what draws you to each site.

Day 4 — Wisdom Gathering

Collect a piece of wisdom each day from various sources related to your deep exploration of your sacred place: related books, conversations, nature, personal insights, etc.

Day 5 — Connect the Dots

Review your notes — reflect and think through your perspective, now. Look for patterns or themes that might arise from your “personal search”.

Day 6 — Draft your Origin Story Search

Write a short narrative of your life's journey so far in this challenge — reflecting on your insights, thoughts, takeaways and perspective from what you’ve uncovered.

Day 7 — Take Decisive ACTION!

Based on your reflections, plan one concrete action to further your personal search or exploration.

A few years ago, I realized that the sacred places I’ve visited in my life might be great places to have my Wisdom Councils, and over the last few years, I’ve taken select people to those places for a unique and profound experience...
